Imagine being able to directly help the life of a kid in another country! CHAMPS kids have a unique opportunity to:

• help kids all over the world through giving & sharing
• learn about their role in the "global community"
• fulfill a community service project
• develop leadership and organizational skills
• increase their awareness of the world landmine crisis.

So here's the deal: we will send your school a CHAMPS kit including:

• a DVD about mine detection dogs
• suggestions for class activities
• a poster-sized map showing landmine affected countries and a Newseek study guide
• news articles from Scholastic, Inc.
• info from around the country about the latest CHAMPS campaigns that are being run by kids like you.

Our CHAMPS team will: visit selected schools with an experienced mine-detection dog that will do presentations and conduct a minefield demonstration.
