BREED: German Shepherd, Bred in Slovakia
HANDLER:Nermin Hadzimugjagic and his staff at the Mine Detection Dog Center (MDDC) in Konjic, Bosnia are hard at work training Granite
SPONSORS: CHAMPS Students from Kingston and Pelham, New Hampshire
WORKING IN: Granite will finish his training at the MDDC some time in February 2007, and will be working in Bosnia Herzegovina “sniffing mines” and saving lives soon after!
FUN FACTS :Granite is training with 2 of his brothers at the MDDC.  South Hadley and  Arizona, both CHAMPS Dogs, are littermates!!  All three dogs will work in Bosnia Herzegovina throughout their working lives.
