FUN FACTS : South Hadley is a beautiful 18-month old German Shepherd who was bred in Slovakia. He and 5 littermates, all males, were selected to train as a Mine Detection Dogs (MDD) at the Mine Detection Dog Center (MDDC) in Konjic, Bosnia Herzegovina.  He's in his4th month of training and should graduate in February 2007 and will beworking in the field by early spring 2007.  South Hadley  will remain in Bosnia to “sniff mines” and save lives.
