CHAMPS is an educational outreach program

designed to engage students in the global

effort to rid the world of landmines and teach

them that they can make a difference in the lives

of others especially kids just like them

around the world in mine-affected countries.

CHAMPS encourages kids of all ages to TAKE ACTION, by participating in a service learning project to sponsor their own mine detection dog!

Children also practice leadership skills and global citizenship, as they join a collaborative effort to save lives.

CHAMPS Connecticut participants in Greenwich

are continually successful and supportive!

The Marshall Legacy Institute provides oversight

of the CHAMPS program and supplies the individual campaigns with:

• educational materials

• personalized school visits

• simulated minefield demonstrations

(performed by our Canine Ambassador!)
